Bulldozer and motherboards, a question regarding bios.

Thread Starter
The question is that do they all require a bios update, at least those I've found. Are there no ready to go? except the MSI one, which is still not available in my country.

Like this Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3 specifically requires bios version F4
according to this http://www.gigabyte.com/support-down....aspx?pid=3901

I actually bought this board with a fx-8120. But as I don't have an older AMD processor laying around for updating the bios, I'm just thinking of returning it.

asrock 990fx extreme 4 like mine comes with a bios 1.3 which is bulldozer ready out of the box. it depends when that board was stock in the store, better ask the store first which bios version is flashed in the board you're going to purchase if that is possible.
