GTX 470 sli vs GTX 560 sli

Thread Starter
Hello I would like to know if 2 Gtx 470's are better then 2 560's in sli. I just researched it a bit and a Gtx 470 is more powerful but I want to know the benefits for each card just to ensure that i make the right decision.

Sorry for the bad grammar, typing on my phone is a pain. :/

The 560 is just an overclocked 460, 560ti v 470 would be more comparable.

Thank you, I guess I will purchase two gtx 470's. Also are there any benefits to having a physX card for example x2 470's and then a gtx 260 for physX or would this not be worth it?

Maybe for Mafia 2. Other than that, there aren't really many games that heavy utilize gpu accelerated physx

Only with each at stock clocks (the 560ti is clocked over 200mhz more. A 470 at max clocks should handily win.

Check this out.

Benchmarks.

The 560 Ti wins in general. Of course, this is single card. In SLI they should both scale similarly but the 470 will have less of a VRAM advantage.

Nevermind, thought he said Ti =P

The 470's are miles better then.
