I'm with sub on this. Pretty much all of these photos (not just yours, so I'm not picking on you ) need to be resized. IMO, there's no reason to have a photo with more than 640 pixels on one side. If detail is required, a resized photo + click-through to high res is the best solution.

Scrolling around full-size images is a poor way to allow people to "view" your photos. I think the unwritten accepted size here is Flickr's "large" output, which is around 1024x683, I would recommend sticking to that. I've actually resorted to using ABP on certain images in a thread until someone replaces them with smaller versions. I'm not going to sit here and wait on a 3M connection for 30MB of photos that I'm not even sure are going to be worth looking at to load.

The 50mm F/1.8 is a fantastic lens. Some nice shots in here with it to prove that.

For someone who has owned all three of the Canon 50's (The 1.8, the 1.4 and now the 1.2) -- Trust me when I say that curiosity is a *****. The 1.8 is magnificantly sharp, but the AF system is painful to listen to and this will eventually urge you to upgrade to the 1.4. Now, the 1.4 is also sharp and the USM on it is beautifully quiet and makes you fall in love with it ... but then you realize the tones are boring.

Then you buy the 1.2 ... you realize it is as sharp as the original 1.8, the USM is as gorgeous as the 1.4 and the tones are something only the L quality comes with .... But the 1.2 is evil .. EVIL I TELL YOU and you wonder why you ever left the 1.8 or the 1.4 because now every photo you take is at 1.2 and you're doomed to forever be referred to as that guy who takes "arty" photos!!!!!!!! mad.gif
