was bored. and tired of high temps.

then i got to thinking i got a 4 in blower fan laying around and some dryer tubing and about an hour later i got this.

so pretty mugh i have the dryer tubing pulling cold air from the window then pushing through my h50 radiator, i know its overkill but i thought you guys might appreciate the concept. ambient temps were 61 f. also what you dont see is the fan is controlled by motor speed controller so its only about half way.

heres my rig if you were wondering

Biostar Ta890fxe
1055t Phenom II @ 3.7g
4870 512mb
4gb pos ram
2x160gbs raid 0
psu corsair 750
H50 lapped block.

i plan on removing the ihs and ocing more once i purchase more heat grease and better ram.

Not to loud it just kinda hums, at full load its pretty loud. the fan itself is surprisingly quiet, for what it is.

My 4870 is louder but i have that forced at 40%. it doesnt have to always be on also i have another fan on the otherside of the rad so if im just surfing the web theres no need. just there for ocing mainly.

Hmm, I have a vacuum in the garage for dust evacuation. The motor weighs 80 pounds, and it uses a dedicated circuit as it draws 15 Amps. I wonder...

you can pick these fans up for about 100 bucks at your local garden supply store and a fan controller. i imagine a vaccum would be loud. i really should make a video of it...
