Thread Starter
Looking for some user level first-hand experience from people who have tested their own, and possible others that have tested multiple I7.

Which ones has the most potential currently on the market?

Any of the 2500k, 2600k, or 2700k overclock with ease. First Intel I've head and I got to 4GHz without even trying even with some not so amazing cooling.

probably 2500k because of no hyper threading and the 32nm FB

2500k is i5 lol.... 2700k should be the best with 2600k about the same or slightly less in terms of overclocking potential.

People really should say if they are only interested in second generation i7's. Intel does it again with the easy to confuse cpu designations.

I know the 2500K isn't an i7, but I thought I'd throw it in there, because it overclocks as well as a 2600k... and it's cheaper
