Is it enough captain!?

Thread Starter
In all seriousness, I am about to throw a new video card & processor in my ancient computer, and wanted to double check on the potential power usage. The power supply is a continuous 700 Watt Coolermaster (link below for specs).

I am going to swapping my E8400, for the Q9550. And I will also be removing the SLI 9800 GT's I have. I will be swapping them for a single GTX 480. I did want to leave one in for PhysX

So:
Q9550
GTX480, & 9800 GT
8GB RAM
EVGA 750i FTW MB
HT Omega Soundcard

PSU:
http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/prod...roduct_id=2750

Thank you in advance!

Holy cow, that was quick! Thanks Pioneer! I wasn't sure since people have always talked about how much power GTX 480's like to consume...:0

That'll do pig...that'll do.

A single GTX 480 will happily run with what you have now, it's when they are paired up. That's when the trouble starts.

It will be enough even with it highly overclocked.
Have fun!!!!

That was going to be my next question...you know, if there was enough juice to start cranking the clock speeds!

It'll be enough ALMOST for 480 SLI (you'd want a good 850w for 480's).

If we were talking 470's, your PSU would handle 470's in SLI just fine.
