Trifire 6950

Thread Starter
Hey guys,

I would like to run a 6950 trifire setup in the future, and my question is; if it is worth the money. Is a trifire 6950 setup much better than a 6950 crossfireX setup?

thanks in advance

Hello veronex,
For sure dont use TriFire with System of yours, you would gain nothing, you need Intel i5/i7 for that, otherwise you third card would get limited by CPU.
By the way im planning 6950 Trifire in a week, for now just got one card and new motherboard.

If you are unsatisfied with your current fps (which you shouldn't be), Then go for it!

Sounds like a nice pc configuration, but even if OCZ fixed most of BSOD that Sandforce SSD controller does by firmware, i would suggest to get Crucial M4 or Samsung 830 SSDs.

I see you already have a 6970, why not use that one, grab 2 new 6970's and got for trifire with that, or do you want to keep your amd system intact ?
