My new 2500K build need suggestions!

Thread Starter
Hello all out there this is my 1st post in these forums since i recently discovered it and i kinda liked it straight away so i registered and started reading the forums and stuff.Seems like a really nice community:)

Now i ll cut to the chase here.I am building a new 2500K sandy bridge rig and these are the components i am thinking to include:

CPU: i5 2500K
Video card: MSI n560GTX ti-hawk
Motherboard: MSI P67A-GD55 b3
Case:Corsair carbide sereies 400R
PSU: Corsair TX750 v2
Ram: Corsair (2x4Gb) 8GB 1600mHz Vengeance Low PRofile kit
CPU Cooler: ??? Havent decided yet.

I am planning on doing some normal Overclocking nothing too extreme, also maybe use sli in the future and main reason of the rig is gaming.

Waiting to hear all your suggestions about the parts and especially about PSU ,Cpu cooler and RAm.

I would probably swap out the MSI board for Asus, Asrock or GB, you get better performance for your money. For CPU cooler, I'd go with a Noctua or the Silver Arrow. If you care about cable management, I'd suggest getting the HX series for your PSU as TX isn't modular. Everything else looks great though.

If you have a Micro center near by they have a great deal on 2500k and mb combo's right now. Any x68 boards are $60 off if you buy the 2500k and board together. This is one of the best Heatsinks out there for the price.

I agree with Jedi on the motherboard and the HX. Modular psu is so much easier to work with.
