They tesselate better and have more ram + they scale better and supersample in dx9.
Oh yeh and they look better
I almost died laughing I'm sorry, but no I would never buy an AMD/ATI card for looks and tessellation brings AMD/ATI cards.

Wrong, wrong and wrong again...They do not handle Tessellation better, they also have a smaller bit rate of only 256 vs 320(570) and 380 for the 580. The 256-bit acts as a bottleneck when you are overclocking the 6970. The 570 also has a 2.5gb version, and of the course we have the 580 3 GigaBeast.

The 6970 may be a about 1% faster at stock settings. But the 570 easily beats it when both are overclocked to full potential.

So it looks like nVidia is still on top? I am going to spend 300e on GPU anyway, but it is always nice when you can save some money... So nVidia isn't priced like that for nothing... I will look further more... I won't be buying any bigger monitor because i don't need to have bigger screen, and there is no space on my desk because of speakers... xD

Well, if you get the right 6950, it can unlock to a 6970. That way you could save $100.

And no I wouldn't say nVidia is overpriced, when it almost the exact same performance as the similar priced ATI card.

This is not my def decision but I am leaning more towards GTX 570, Physx is always nice to have and I had 0 problems with drivers in game... If I go with GTX 570 I'll take that huge Asus DirectCU II, and If I go with 6950/6970 I'll go with regular Asus model... Maybe GTX is better overall,. has more features and I know I can't go wrong with it necause I am very familiar with nVidia and their products... AMD came as option just because I thought I could get more performance and quality for less money...

Nvidia isn't on top; not even close.

Just because a card performs better in ONE SINGLE GAME doesn't mean it's better overall. BF3 on ultra goes a little slower on AMD cards because of MSAA. Nvidia cards takes around a 22% hit, while AMD cards takes 35%. This may or may not be fixed with drivers. If you look at high settings, the AMD cards will pull ahead.

Overall though, the 6970 is slightly faster than a 570 and it comes with more Vram. 1.2GB on the 570 and 2GB on the 6970.

More features? You can run 3 monitors of a single AMD card, an Nvidia card can't do the same.

LOL wrong Nvidia beats AMD in a lot of games. Some other user posted that information a while back too, yet I can't find the thread.

Okey now I am totaly confused... xD I mean numbers are numbers, and if one card is overally better than other it shouls be like that... Some say Amd is better all the way than other guy quote him and laughs sayibg nvidia would crush amd... xD please be objective despite your choice... If there is somebody who had both cards and just tell me his conclusion, that would be great... xD

I would not say there is any "top" videocard company, I would call them equal. Both offer their own things perks and equivalent performance at the same price.

Nah, it is more than just one game. The 6970 does beat the 570 in some cases too though, but not as many times. Yeah, if you were to have anything over 1080p or want to do multiple monitors, then ATI is the way for sure.

Personally though, as I said before I would get the AMD cards......and this is coming from someone who owns a 570.
