Yes it is worth it.

I would say the additional 280MB can give you an edge on newer games, either with AA or without.

You can look around and find the 570 for even ~$310, and that's a very good deal.

If you're really in a budget then I suppose you could get a 560ti, maybe the MSI Hawk edition.

Yes, the 570 is worth every penny. Bought mine for $290, but i would gladly have paid $340 for it.

It's beast for 1080p resolution. BF3, Arkham Asylum(physx) tend to shoot up to 1155mb VRAM. You will struggle with DX11 titles on a 560ti. With an Overclocked 570, you're reaching close to 580 stock speeds, better minimum/maximum framerates on your games, beefier cuda core and the very much valuable 250mb vram that comes in handy quite often.

Simply put, the 570 is one of the best price to performance ratio cards on the market today. If it can survive BF3, it can survive Keplar.

You can overclock the GTX 570 almost close enough to 580 stock speeds. It's a boss of a card.
