Your favorite real world RTS - Page 3

RUSE? Nope, too simplistic in my opinion. I guiltily admit I pretty much never play RTS' online, but know what? I probably logged nearly 500 hours on Company of Heroes online. It's so addictive, and a good balance of strategy and twitch reflexes and has all these neat little details that make it a standout RTS. It is very newb unfriendly though = /. EVERYBODY seems to check your stats, and if you're 0-0, or have a W/L ratio under one, prepare to get kicked lots.

World in Conflict is a stricter BF style game, where you're locked into a class, and performance is dependent on how good you're at playing your role and meshing into a team.

Men of War, definitely a more hardcore real time tactical/strategy game.

Total War I also suggest, but it's very different. More deliberate.

I digress, the most fun you'll have in a LAN is probably going to be Company of Heroes, mostly because it's just so polished, and also unlike many of the other games, there's an element of luck that will make you or your friends go BS!! It's definitely a good LAN game if you can get it going.

Total War stuff is 60+ percent off at Gamersgate.

I like Company of Heroes, but it goes on sale at too much of a discount to recommend paying current prices.
Medieval II gold edition @ $3 is a must get. It's my favorite of the Total War series. It's a RTS (battle map) and a Turn Based (campaign map) game in one. I highly recommend it if you've never played it.

The woman (who was under the influence of drugs) has been charged with his death, which is good.
