What are your vtt and CPU pll voltages? I had some weird things happen with the windows msg ballon saying your performance was decreased and the gpu driver "falling out" or crashing. This was all back when I was overclocking. I'm just asking to rule out you having those voltages too low or not optimal for your overclock.

Issue #5 - PSU fan rattling. At first I had a very tiny rattle once in a while that was kinda hard to hear where it was coming from. Now It rattles quite heavily and loud sometimes. Usually when I'm playing BF3. Its really annoying and kinda scaring me. I don't like those sounds coming from my computer. Is this damaging anything? Should I replace the fan? Should I just go buy a new PSU anyways? I was going to SLI my 570's and get a corsair AX 850W, but when BF3 came out I realized I can easily run it on a single GTX 570 and runs really nicely. So I decided I don't need to SLI anymore because my card should be able to run every game coming out within the next year. Should I still replace my PSU? Kinda a waste ATM, but it would stop the rattling. Should I open the PSU up and tighten something? Should I get a new PSU fan?
if its just a rattle, may be the fan is bad.
any other sound like a humm or a whine then the psu may be dying.

Issue #4 - Windows defaults to a certain color scheme to maximize performance. When I play BF3, almost every day, I get an error in windows that says something like "Windows has defaulted your color scheme to improve performance because it seems to be slowing down ur computer" or something like that, not sure. And it switches my window colors and task bar colors to like the light blue default one. I have no clue why this is happening, and I have no clue how to stop this. Please any help would be appreciated!
happened on my pc 'a couple of times' while playing dirt3.windows forums said its cause of less RAM being available.now i simply close my chrome while i play.turns out chrome eats up a lot of ram.never had a problem after that.
tough i got another 2gb stick,so now with 6gb,evrything works like a charm!*touch wood*

Issue #3 - SC2. I've been playing BF3 completely perfect. No video crashes, no blue screens, no driver crashes, perfect. I'm on STOCK CPU settings (3.4 GHz or whatever), and overclocked GTX 570 to 1100 volts, 900 core, 2000 memory. I've played BF3 now for about 85 hours with these settings. I'm also using the newest driver from Nvidia, the 285.62 full release. Yesterday, I went on SC2. Played the first game fine, second game fine, third game my game like minimized, GPU fans turned off, settings got reset on GPU overclock, then the game maximized, and I continued playing. It basically just reset my video overclocks, but didnt crash the game. I set back my overclocks and tried to play another game. It did the same thing, but this time BSOD aswell after the settings reset in MSI afterburner. BSOD I think said 116 error code? It looked pretty different then a CPU BSOD. It had different error and letters and stuff. It didnt overheat, it was at around 57*C or so.
could be any of these-
1.unstable OC with the new driver.
2.just a driver problem
3.not enough 'steady' power for your OC from your PSU.

i think you should try using your brothers psu or any other psu available with your cpu n gpu OC settings.may be the psu o/p has more ripple and has slowly degraded your parts.just a may be.

I had PLL voltage and VTT on auto to try to make it work the easiest. I tried several different PLL and VTT voltages and it didnt really do anything different then auto.

I'm going to buy a new PSU, see if it fixes anything, if not, I'm going to return it. I'm also going to do those RAM tests, that could be the issue.

BTW, new issue just happened. Ive had no problems/crashes since BF3 came out and I've played over 85 hours of it. I played single player today, and I crashed TWICE from it. Once it just reset my MSI afterburner settings, the next crashed my computer completely and I had to restart. Any thoughts?

Have you run your vid card at stock clocks thru any of this? Do you monitor your GPU temp with Afterburner? Any chance it's your vid card dying?

as keto above said, the card MAY be dying.and since u r experiencing so many crashes, something is dying.have u tried reinstalling the drivers?
also what are your cpu and gpu temperatures under load while running prime95(for cpu and furmark, etc for gpu)
i had a friends 8500gt that used to run at 58C idle.any light gaming and everything would just freez.he had overclocked/overvolted the **** out of it and it basically was dying.
