Train yourself... it's worth it. After awhile you can do it 100% of the time, but it will take months or years to get to that point. Also, some dreams DO have limits to what you can do.. others do not. You can't "fly around" in every dream you have, it just won't happen.. in other dreams it's easy.

You really don't want to lose conciousness and be programmed with all kinds of junk from the subconcious. It's not good for you. I sometimes break dreams sometimes take them places they don't want them going.
My best dream was I was in college and "failing" and they were trying to pump all kinds of anxiety into me. I woke up laughing so hard.

I don't dream, but I can do all the things mentally while awake that most people need to be dreaming to do. Barring telekinesis etc. However mentally imaging 3d lanscapes, complex machines, mechanical engineering tasks. I can do those easy as pie. Play movies, play music, render a image. no problem. As if I had a third eye. I can do complex 3d charting mentally like manipulating 3d picture charts. I can recall images of machines I have takent apart and blow them out into 3d assembly's and walk around them, rotate, zoom etc.

I don't know of any one else who can do this ?? am I alone ?

I read about it while I was browsing 4chan and honestly thought it was just another one of those things that wasn't true like alot of the postings on that image board are tongue.gif I've read about the techniques on the "official" forum and have seen a whole bunch of people say they've done it. I think I've done it once or twice without really noticing it. Its very interesting though. I wouldn't mind recreating the 1st level of Super Mario and placing myself in it applaud.gif

I've been a lucid dreamer my entire life; I've never had a dream where I didn't know it was a dream. I didn't understand the whole "pinch me I'm dreaming" saying when I was growing up, before I learned about lucid dreaming, because I assumed everyone knew when they were having a dream.

To be honest, I really wish that I could have a "normal" dream, it sounds wild to be in a completely different world and actually believe its real. My dreams are cool, and yes you can control them, but the fact that you know its a dream makes it feel like your watching a movie or playing a videogame; the believability is gone.
