I would say to do your first loop with barbs, you will save a good bit of money. See if you can make a list of how many you need, then add the dollar figure up. I go to Koolance or Performance PC's for my fittings.Koolance is the only place I have found fittings (real compression fittings, the one time tightened and it is set in that position for copper pipe) for copper pipe.I am in the process of making two rigs using 1/2" copper pipe. I like the look,it is not so common, and the pipe will radiate some heat.Koolance has the largest selection, in fact I think Performance PC's gets much of their supply from Koolance. I bought both the male and female side of a quick disconnect in compression style, this fitting was 25.00 when it was all said and done.I think ordering the fittings (really selecting the fittings and only making one order) is a problem for all new people.Multiple shipping charges will ruin your budget.
