Usually you can look at the wire and it will say what ever awg(american wire guage) it is.

When I first thought about making my own wires with MDPC MOLEX Power Connectors getting the wiring right was in for foremost part of my mind, I'm going to label each cable with its proper color using a colored piece of tape!

So I have made all the feet and finished making all the wires from my fan controller. I bought the wrong size leds for the feet. so I need to go get some new ones today. then I will build some cable for those and tie them in with my lighting controller. After that I just need to clean the wires up a bit and make some decals for the power supply side of my case and a couple for the inside on the motherboard.
I also was tossing around an Idea for making a GPU support. I contacted the caselabs about it, and they said somthing like that was in the works. I came up the one in the pictures. Not sure if i want to try and cut out the evga E in the side or just use vinyl. I think I'll play around with it tomorrow a little to get it just right. What do you guys think of it? Keep it, bag it, or altar it?

ok, so I decided to cut out the evga E into the side of the GPU support. After, I thought it needed more. I had this red ripple looking sheet of plastic that I wanted to use for somthing. Its not sticky at all, so I wasn't sure how to stick it to the plastic without it looking horrible on the back. I tried 2 sided tape and a few other things that failed to hold it tight. I decided to go with some more vinyl to help. I might have to pick up some black vinyl to put on it, instead of red. You can't realy see it on the back when its in the case. you have to look from way behind it. even then it doesnt look bad at all. Let me know what you guys think.

This build continues to get better by the day. smile.gif I'm really enjoying the updates. smile.gif One of the only things you need to do now is sleeve your SATA cables. thumb.gif

well done. another TH10 thumb.gif .. looks much better in the sunlight .

so ... about the sleeving. guess who has to do about the same amount as you've done. rolleyes.gif i've got a tx850 to practice on first. rolleyes.gif .. only thing i would suggest [and i'm really nitpicking here] is to use lutro0's tool to get the heatshrink the exact same length out of the connector on every wire. obviously i dont think you're going to redo it at this point... but IF you get the urge to ...smile.gif it would be a nice detail touch

can you please explain how you trained the wires to flow together as a ribbon like that? i see you've got those little black things tying them together - how does that work ... is it a needle and thread kind of thing or what. well done

Its a way of sewing cable together using knotts. It's very time consuming, but as you can see well worth it.
there is no needle and thread. You have to use a wax based string. They should have some at craft stores, look in the bead area.

Thanks for all the great feedback guys. I am going to replace the red on the back of the GPU support with a black vinyl and see how that looks. The red on the back is just bugging me.

Thanks for all the great comments and opinions people have been giving me.

So I finished building, mounting, and wiring the feet in. Let me know what you think.
