yes. I have it setup so the lights dont come on with the case. You push the front button and the lights come on. I put an off button inside the case behind the dimmer dial. the button controls the button led, resevoir cathode, the uv lights, and the feet lights. It will also control some white lights im going to be puttin in there.
I couldn't find an on/off tamper proof button that would match the case ones, so I used a 12v relay to control the lighting.

I ran all new ones. it would have been way to time consuming to extend them. Its better to make all your own cables with new plugs pin and wires, then to try and take all the pins out of the exsisting plugs. Unforunatly I couldn't find anyone that sell corsair plugs. they are different than any other PSU, so I had to pull apart all the plugs and repin them.

It looks like I will have to make my own length cables for my PSU and use my plug & pins, where did you find the wiring to make your own cables?

you can either just go get some from an electronics store or order it from performance pc, or various other sites. just make sure you replace the wires with the same size. Most are 18 and some are 16. fan wires i think are 24 or 22.

How do you determine if these wires are 16 ~ 18 gauge wire, I'd hate to order the incorrect size wire! Which gauge wire did you buy?

I bought all 18 guage. Then was able to use the wire from the old plugs. I would buy like a 25 foot spool of 16 guage. I used 16 guage for my fan controller, It's pretty power hungry. just make sure you get the right wires in the right holes. thats what having the original plug is good for. also make sure all your wires are the same length. Usually you can look at the wire and it will say what ever awg(american wire guage) it is.
