Trying to get 2600k Stable at 4.6

i have maximus iv extreme and i overclocked 2600k to 4.5 and it's fully stable but i cant reach 4.6 .
i tried almost every thing and nothing changed
can it be my 600w psu not enough for maximus iv ?

600w should be more than enough, especially without a dedicated graphics card. What happens when you try 4.6ghz? I heard that 40% of 2600k chips can unlock past 4.5Ghz, you might have just gotten unlucky. Juts to be sure, did you change voltages and settings or are you overclocking on stock voltages/settings?

i have a graphic card ati 5850. which drains more power
i changed voltages and everything but each time i start the pc at 4.6 it start up for 3 sec then shut down 4 sec then start up again and type ( OVERCLOCKING FAILED ) or when it start it cant stand the stablity test

600w PSU is pretty borderline. I would guess it's some other setting in your bios though, I've not heard of a 2600K that couldn't do 4.6.
