OCCT's own default stress testing has been much faster at finding unstable overclocks in my experience (and all of my friends as well) than prime95, and linpack is there if you want to try and melt your CPU with heat it will never come within 80% of hitting with any sort of real computing scenario
combine the fact that OCCT can stress the GPU and even has a CPU/GPU blend test to see if your PSU can hold down the wattage requirements makes it the most complete and easiest stress testing tool before considering its amazing monitoring capabilities
with prime95 I feel like I need to have CPU-z and coretemp or realtemp to have anything close to a complete stress testing package, with just OCCT its all I need and I feel more confident in finding stability with it, win-win.
Was super bummed to find out that development had basically stopped right around the release of Nehalem, which made the program pretty much worthless for my first SandyBridge build last spring, so its awesome news its up and running again, this is definitely software I would pay for, so now I just need to transfer some money to paypay to donate
