Yes, and actually you can drag the game files out from the steam folder and still play it.

and btw if you buy mw3 you get a free cod4.

I don't want MW3 lol. My $60 for this month is going towards Skyrim and then I might end up spending that little extra on CoD 4.

Thanks!
If you preordered it you would've got it free!

I usually wait 3 or 4 weeks after a game to see if it's a flop or not though, BF3 I didn't pick up for that reason, what a poostorm.

Oh, well that's kind of bad..50 people on one of those small maps sounds pretty bad to be honest.
No, steam is only counting steam copies of COD4 on their stats.

Cod4 is the most played cod on PC.

From the looks of it, its still the most played PC FPS.

63k players who have xfire play it per day.

69k play steam, though that is required. There are many players who dont have xfire that would be playing. So there is your answer.

Ahh, CoD 4 is like a wife, you may or may not cheat on her, but she'll always be there. Honestly when I get bored of all my other FPS's I just reinstall CoD 4, copy over my stats, and run and gun with my gold uzi all day. There's this one specific server I play on everytime, and I'll probably remember it for the rest of my days, that's not something you can say about every game.

my cousin is been offering me his COD4 a few months ago. I said no thanks coz I thought the multiplayer would be dead due to the number of cod games that came out. really surprised about this. I might take his offer and go to his place right now

If you want this game, get the physical copy GOTY from amazon. Steam doesn't sell the DLC for this game and its not included.
