but based on what i know is a reference card should have an AMD logo on its PCIe connector lane, but why it doesn't have one on it?

since DC II 6970 water block is improbable i'll just simply xfire it, guess i can only just water-cooled my CPU, MB and change a pair of new high-profile RAM with turbo fan, as well as my PSU to accommodate adequate usage of power, due to major upgrade.

Thanks for your guys suggestions and advices.

Why not get uni blocks? The whole card won't be water cooled but you'll still get way better temps. I think some people have modded the air coooler on DCII cards so that it can go back on with a uni block, to cool the ram/vrms.

but i'm worried that the temperature of passive heatsink isn't getting ideal temperature, like DC II did, that is why i desperately looking for full cover waterblock, it is so hard for me to make a final decision.

I understand, but the ram/vregs are already air cooled. So if you do it right they are going to be cooled the same. Are you thinking it will be worse?

yes, because i'm afraid under full load condition will be worse, plus i'm going to do 2 way or maybe 3 way xfire if i'm going to have universal water block, i'm worried the heat produce by ram/vregs is going to increase the temperature of the cards nearby.

Well sell your cards and get something that you can get full covers for. You will sell them sooner or later anyway

so you're actually using a passive heatsink on your ram/vregs, and you get 38c by running furmark test? i assume that is quite a good result i think......
