Are my temps wrong? - Page 2

Also, your motherboard is not sufficient for any type of overclocking whatsoever. It has a crap 4+1 power phase, no VRM heatsink, and a VERY HIGH failure rate with x6 procs.

That's all good and fine, just stating the facts. We've seen countless failures on these low quality MSI boards, just didn't want to see another one.

word's of wisdom, anything but AS5. its old old old paste, has a 200 hour cure time, and is conductive. Almost anything will be better. My fav's are ChillFactor, Shin Etsu, ICD7/24. With ICD being my all time fave at this point.

Closed loop water coolers such as the corsair h70 are a complete joke. The idea that Corsair wanted the air to be pulled/pushed into the case makes me really wonder *** they were thinking. In order for you to get really good temps you must figure a way to get cool air pushed through the rad. I know the air blowing out the back may seem cool but trust me on this you have to get cool air from outside your case pushed into the rad for it to drop temps.

its cool where i live, and my room is usually cold.

this thing dropped my temps on my 955BE dramatically.

i wouldnt say its a joke, it keeps everything nice and cold inside.
