Granted, there are better pastes, but the difference is 5C at best. AS5 only takes 200HRS to cure if you use your computer to browse the internet and then shut it off when your done - that's what that estimate was based off of. He's gaming on BF3 and using his computer a lot more than that, so it would take no time at all to cure - which btw only changes by 5C once it's cured. It's also non-conductive - says right on website - not to mention I've tested it pretty extensively. Btw, AS5 happens to be what I've using right now. AS5 at 4.5GHZ with my cooling never cracks 38C under full load

have you reapplied your tim? btw, mount your cooler like this way

1 x x x 3
4 x x x 2

so it'll evenly flat out on the surface of your cpu..

See that's what I expect from a Silver Arrow with 2 San Ace 1011s and low vCore.

I used to run a Titan Fenrir EVO cooler with 2x Delta 240 CFM fans - serious cooling, but at 62 dBA each seriously enough to wake the dead. You don't really get an idea how loud those fans are. You tell yourself "I'm willing to sacrifice for better performance". Think of two banshees screaming in your ears! You want to kill something after a few hours with these suckers. Go water cooling and save your sanity.

I'm working on a water loop as we speak, but I don't find my san ace's to be too loud. I keep them at full tilt 24/7 even my wife isn't bugged by them but yea, 62DBA would make me want to hurt somthing lol.
