I don't want my fps locked. I want a solid 120 at all times. But by all means, use the command if you want.

When I use this as-is my frame rate is capped at 30fps? Is it supposed to be like that?

No it is not. The command that I removed should have fixed that. Did you add it back in? Or you have vsync enabled, maybe?
No, here is exactly what I have:
Quote:
WorldRender.SpotLightShadowmapResolution 256
RenderDevice.TrippleBufferingEnable 0
RenderDevice.ForceRenderAheadLimit 0
Render.DrawFps 0
WorldRender.FxaaEnable 0
RenderDevice.Dx11Enable 1
Render.PerfOverlayEnable 0
PostProcess.DynamicAOEnable 0
Render.DeviceVSyncEnable 0
WorldRender.MotionBlurEnable 0
WorldRender.DxDeferredCsPathEnable 0

What should it be? Or what should I change?

(To be honest, the 30FPS cap isn't horribly bad because there is very little tearing noticeable now as compared to bad tearing before - makes for much smoother gameplay, albeit clunky. Though I despise how funky it feels compared to 50/60+ FPS...)

It didnt do anything for me at all.
Im running 1080p, Ultra setting selected ingame, FOV 75.

Also the Perfoverlay you mentioned.... Thats just the onscreen GPU & CPU graph? It doesnt limit FPS in anyway.
Thats why i cant understand why its in this 'tweak' config, its not enabled by default anyway so why include a command to disable it.

Theres some other useless commands in there aswell...
Vsync command to off... Errr why not just set it to 'off' ingame.

Also the AmbientOcclusion command disables HBAO & SSAO completly, yes boosts FPS, but the IQ suffers accordingly.

And doesnt the DX11 command disable DX11 ???

Yes, it disables Dx11, but i guess some people are desperate for performance, Me i actually have no issue with performance. I run it at Ultra but with both the AA options disabled since i couldn't tell the difference. ANd motion blur disabled, just eats performance without much visual gain, and i have AF at 4x. I rarely drop below 40 fps.

Sent from my SAMSUNG Galaxy S using Tapatalk while driving under the influence.

I thought Motion Blur on helps fps.... Can anyone explain MB.

Motion Blur is exactly what it sounds like. When you move quickly from left to right, it attempts to imitate, and fails badly, the human eye motion blur. It may make the game more "realistic" but seeing as how it isn't realistic and is actually a hindrance, I turned it off and got a few fps from it too.

Can you tell me exactly what I need to put in the user.cfg file so I can get the FPS boost, instead of a 30FPS cap?

Thanks!
