So I'm over here in Beijing on a study abroad trip and I've been taking some photos and making some cinemagraphs.

I was looking for some advice on how to improve my work and pretty much anything else you all more experienced ones could offer up.

I'm working with the following:
for video - iPhone 4
stills - iPhone 4 and Canon Powershot SD750 (CHDK)

I've done no post-processing, maybe I should? Also, I don't have access to a tripod, these are all done free hand as a candid - aforementioned in the title.
