Ε6500 vs Q9300 - Which one for Gaming

Thread Starter
I was wondering if i will have better performance (more fps) in gaming if i upgrade to a Q9xxx proccesor. Now i have a Ε6500. I can find many used Q9xxx CPUs for less than 100€ in my country. For instance today a found a Q9300 for 90€. My motherboard is an EVGA 790i Ultra SLI.

Edit: Also i am going to upgrade to a GTX560. In case that matters...

Get a Q9300 it's much more powerful than E6500..

It has 1333MHz FSB (vs 1066MHz of E6500) and it has more cache..

Also 4 cores do wonders vs 2 cores of E6500..

On that 790i motherboard you could OC it to 3.3 to 3.5GHz easily..

CHEERS..
