Negative, quick scoping is different than no scoping. Which also did not originate from 1.6.

This exactly.

Just because when you carry a sniper rifle, you don't have a crosshair unless you scope in. So you shoot without the crosshair at the target but guessing the center of the screen.
You're completely wrong actually, as the bullet does not go towards where the crosshair would be when no scoping most of the time, unless you have the method down, which most do not. Especially not on the xbox as the controls to do it is very cumbersome.

On console a no scope is still a aim-assisted shot.

IMO, it's not hard at all to do a 900 degree and aim somewhere near someone, then let your aim assist do the job for you.

On PC, it's more about luck than anything, I've already done a few jump-360 no scope in BF3, but I've missed most of them. I think it's more about the show off for video footage or your friend is watching you play and you want him to believe you are a beast.

Why am I posting on a CoD thread xD

Is this from personal experience? Because they still take skill. Of course, it's different type of skill to on PC, but it's still skill.

The auto-aim is trying to make up for using a little stick to aim with, and the controller lag, and the connection-lag, all of which are worse on console than PC in general.

If they are so easy, then please show some proof.

This same thing comes up all the time... Yes, PC controls are superior to a gamepad for FPS, and yes, a good PC player would beat a good console player using their preferred control hardware. However, the best console players are still highly skilled within the confines of a gamepad, and the best PC gamers would get dominated by them if both using a gamepad. And vice versa if they were both using kb/mouse.

So many misinformed 12 year old haters. Riou and De-Zant Pretty much summed it up. Why are you watching a video you don't understand and then creating a condescending thread about it on an internet forum?

It actually does require a slight bit of skill to do a noscope. There is a trick to it, on PC at least.

The fact that you guys think CoD started the no scope is telling.

Well, to me in BFBC2, noshotting is pretty useful when some of the pesky humans try to rush me, thinking I'm defenseless.

I actually learned to do it in MW2. Seemed challenging at first, but then doing longer shots was tricky.
