Rosewill RK-9000 or Ducky ABS DK-1008?

Both blue switches, both mechanical, both have great reviews and build quality.

The question is, is there anything that would persuade me from buying one from the other? Leaning towards the Ducky, simply because I like the name tongue.gif

And I have never heard anything bad of Ducky keyboards.

Opinions, anyone?

If price wasn't an option, then I would also consider the Leopold. But if price is something you consider, then the Rosewill would be your best bet. I believe you can get a coupon now that gives you the blue version for 79.99 and free shipping. I've heard that the Rosewill and Ducky board (9008) is practically the same board. So it all comes down to price to be honest.

I can't speak for the ducky since I have never used it.

But the rosewill you can see taken apart here.

Really great quality, still typing like the day I opened it.

I haven't found the Rosewill keyboard coupon, but on Tankguys.com I can get the ducky for 80, but it's not 9000 version

to most, price wouldn't be the deciding factor.

more like, the type of stabilizer. costar (rosewill OEM) vs cherry stabilizers.

some aren't a fan of cherry and prefer costar.

others, like myself, are fine with both.

also, rosewill boards might be a tad bit better when it comes to quality. but apparently, ducky has stepped up their game.

Geek Hack had an issue with some malware ad I think, it's safe to go to now.

On the subject of Ducky vs Rosewill, both are good keyboards. Like waar said, I think the deciding factor would be stabilizer difference. I prefer the Costar stabilizers, so I would go with Rosewill out of those 2, but it's more personal preference than anything.

Sounds like a landslide for the Rosewill, unfortunately the promo code for newegg doesn't work anymore. Another question(don't think I should ask in another thread)

Is Das worth the price premium over Rosewill?
