Sabertooth p67 issue

Thread Starter
So I recently picked up a sabertooth p67 boards and an I5 2500k. I was able to install windows fine and all but i have been having an issue with my bios, I returned the motherboard once and the problem persists. I ran prime95 for about 6 hours without errors as well as Intel Burn Test. I also ran kombuster to test my video card and it was fine. The Problem is that within the EFI bios I can only see about 3/4 of the screen (mostly top left ). Also my normal bios boot screen is missing letters and has random symbols on it.

Any help with this would be appreciated.

First think i think of is RAM or video card. Test the RAM sticks (by individually putting each in the DIMM slot) and swap the video card.

Ok, so your swapped the main parts that i think would cause problems, could you try a new cpu (if possible), try swapping the heatsink (reinstall maybe), reapply thermal, swap the power supply, swap hard drive...basically swap till problem solved.

Edit: You returned the motherboard and got a new sabertooth p67 correct?

so I tried it with my friends core i5, reapplied the heatsink and thermal paste, changed hard drives and all that good stuff and same thing. I did already swap it out once and i called asus support and the guy told me to return it again. so probably going to a p8p67 pro board now.
