Rasa 240 Install guides?

Thread Starter
My rasa 240 kit comes in next week and I'll have a friend come over to help me set it up. Neither him or I know anything about installing watercooling. I've looked up installation guides online, didn't come up with anything that useful though. Are there any step by step visual guides that will give me instructions oh how to properly install the full kit? I want to be prepared for when we start to set it up.

There are a few installation videos on you tube the best one i found had step to step only bad thing was it showed him installing the amd back plate.

as far as the kit goes there are no instructions with it other than how to mount the water block.

Not that I know of. You should do a search for Water Cooling Guides. There are some pretty awesome guides on the Internet that, if you read them and look at the comments for them, should give you a good idea what to expect.

You can try looking on youtube. I think Juggalo on here did a lot of videos on watercooling and I basically followed his on youtube. The parts maybe different but the idea is all similar.

Steps. Put the springs then washes on the four black screws. Make sure the back plate is on the back of your mobo, depending on the CPU, amd has the bigger one. Hook the radiator up, it comes with 3 fans, put them so they are pulling outside air and pushing it into the rad. Do not tighten screws too tight, or it will puncture the radiator. Put some of the supplied thermal paste, or your choice paste in the middle of the CPU, put the waterblock on top and screw each of the four screws as tight as ya can. Then hook up a hose from CPU waterblock out to any of the radiator barbs. Then
Hook a tubing up from other radiator port to the res/ pump, hook this tube up to the bottom left barb, not the one behind the black motor. Then hook tubing from the barb behind the black motor to the CPU in on the waterblock. Fill it, will need more distilled water because it will Need to fill the tubing and radiator. Let it run to get the air bubbles out. Congrats ur done!

Even if it's not the same kit nor the same cpu mounting system, I have found this video Very instructive for my first loop and I hope you will learn things from it. I however suggest you to continue reading about water cooling and start when fully ready
