No. I'm a Fedora guy though so my opinion's a bit biased. But, cliched as the whole "buntu is for nubs" business might sound, it does sacrifice some control over the system in order to make it more user-friendly, something that made it feel a bit clunky for me. Not slow or bloated, just... stiff and awkward.

Installing the Flash plugin for Firefox on Fedora has never been an issue for me, though, and I've just stuck with the open source graphics since I don't need anythihing fancy (using Windows for gaming) and they're more than adequate for desktop compositing.
