Modern Warfare 3 Gameplay - Page 2

Run and gun IS a game type, one I enjoy very much in fact. And yes, getting really good does require practice, lots of it.
I am just gonna watch a playthrough on Youtube, and be done with it. If I wanted arcadey style multiplayer, I have TF2.

Run&Gun just isnt my cup of tea tbh. With Skyrim just around the corner, I see no motivation in getting this, and there's also Saints Row 3 as well.

I just bought it on Steam, and only because I have never owned a CoD game before. I know it's an iteration of the previous titles but I figured that I can get this one and that'll be THE CoD game that I own. Besides, it's a nice casual FPS experience, completely different to something like Battlefield.

I generally like the CoD gameplay in itself. But having ANY type of P2P matchmaking where people can't be kicked or banned just DOESN'T work well on PC. There were so many hackers and griefers on MW2 by the end of it, it just became a nightmare to play.

Luckily MW3 has unranked dedicated servers... but ranked games are still P2P. This doesn't make sense to me, so I haven't bought the game. Seems like an insult to PC players, and arrogance on their part that they think they can sell the game well on PC without having proper dedicated servers.

People are all Fanboy of Battlefield 3, especially on OCN, if you go on gamespot.com, people prefer MW3.

Honestly, I bought Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Modern warfare 2, I played about 15 hours of BC2 and around 300 hours+ of MW2.

It all depends on what you like. People always bash against COD games, but we all know the COD series are far more popular than battlefield.

Have you seen a lot of MW3 publicity? I DIDN'T. And people all knew when it was coming out.
On the other side, Battlefield 3 was announced everywhere. This means, that EA are desperate of finding new players, EA knows that COD series are better.

This is my opinion, and again, I bought BF3 and didnt like it, the single player sucked, always the same story, shoot and hide. And the END was (I loved the screnario and the cinematics though ). The multiplayer is like the other Battlefield games. I'm waiting 1 last hour to play a great game (MW3). Maybe its arcade style but it's far more popular on every console.

Something I don't like about MW3, is the lack of dedicated servers.

have a nice day And you have to respect my opinion. Because I keep hearing you criticising against Mw3 and I always respected it.

This game will be sweet.

Question is - why does everyone care about multiplayer graphics so much?

My opinion - BF3 is crap. MW1 and MW2 have been sweet games to play. Unranked dedis? okay then, dont prestige.
