you're doing it wrong.

Yeah...i think you have too much paste on it. You need to reset your heat sink with less paste and make sure you clean it will rubbing alcohol that step is very important for max thermal transfer.

Using Arctic MX-4 I applied it using the bead method and I went from (idle/load) 41C/75C to 32C/52C. Great success!! thanks guys
