EVGA GTX 570 Classified overclock help

Hi guys,

I've got my new EVGA GTX Classified card on air and I want overclock it but I;m totally new to GPU overclock so if any one can help me where to start that would be great. My target is around 900 MHz the card is currently on
822 Mhz VDDC @1.050V. Any help will be good like how to set the VDDC etc...

Many thanks

The Classified should have no problems going to 900 or even 950. With luck, you might hit 1k. That said, if you're still on air cooling, you'll need to check your temps and current voltage. Load up MSI Afterburner and you should get full control of the card. I'm running my EVGA 570 SC at 900@1.1v, though I'm on water cooling.

I would not recommend just putting it at 900@1.1v if you're on air. Bump up your GPU clock by 10mhz and do a benchmark until you start seeing driver crashes. Win7 is pretty good about containing the crash to just the driver and not the computer. At that point, increase your voltage by .01 until the driver crash stops.

I run my 570 classifieds 900@1.1v. They seemed stable at 925 until I started playing bf3. My cards are really close together on my board and I see a max temp of 86 on the top card.

My impression is you really can't see the true potential of the 570 classified until you put it under water and then flash the bios to let you go past 1.1v.

Angrybutcher's suggestion is the safe way to go, I personally was a bit more cavalier...

Thanks guys.
It seems I've managed to get a stable overclock 900/1800/2000 @1.1V no crashes so far and the temps don't go above 71C under stress with 75% fan speed.

So I think I will stick with this maybe if I'd get water cooling push it further but at the moment I'm pretty happy with it.
