Did I do a stupid buy? Zotac Vs. EVGA 590

The thing is.. I just ordered this:

http://www.zotac.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage_images-SRW.tpl&product_id=309&category_id=138&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=100252&lang=em

.. but as "stupid" as I were I found out EVGA had the same card, just with a bit higher stats on them. The EVGA card is here:

http://www.evga.com/products/pdf/03G-P3-1596.pdf

To sum it up:

Zotac:
Core clock: 607 MHz
Shader Clock: 1215 MHz

Vs

EVGA:
Core clock: 630 MHz GPU
Shader Clock: 1260MHz

I kind a regret buying the Zotac now.. Should I chill, relax and be happy now with my 590 Zotac? I bought the GTX 590 because I wanted the best card, and it kills me to know there is a card with higher stats on it.. confused.gif

d'oooh !

that, and the fact that EVGA has more reliable cards with a much better warranty...yeah, I'd say you should have bought the EVGA and not the Zotac...

Just overclock it to the EVGA speeds, takes like 2mins lol. The only thing about the 590s is that they run hot as hell! My friends EVGA classified 590 gets up to 90c in BF3!

Zotac has always been a reliable brand for me and they usually offer good extended free warranty anyway. Just overclock it to same speed as the EVGA....Sorted.

Zotac has been surprisingly good in the GPU department for several of my customers. I have a couple friends with dual zotac 580s that have nothing but good to say about em. I'd say you are OK. No need to fret over those clocks, you can't tell that difference.
