extending 8pin power cable

I have this PSU: CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W. Im curious if extending the 8pin power cable would degrade the PSU. The cable is not long enough to go behind the MB.

Nah...it would be fine. You'd have to extend it a couple meters before the resistance of the wire would be enough to effect anything. If not farther. They are short on some PSUs for convience since in most cases the connection is not far from the PSU.

You could also just use a molex adapter for it. that power connection typically doesn't have too much of draw on it anyway.
