That's really strange, is it possible that my GPU overclock has forcing my CPU to work harder or something requiring more Vcore voltage?

here is a snap shot of the dump file

Checking temperatures on CPU and GPU with furmark and prime95

CPU sits at 60 degrees on full load all 4 cores

GPU sits at almost 80 degrees full load but its late and i dont want the rediculous fan noise to wake up my family so i have the fans running lower than usual, an hour or two of BF3 usually has them running at 75 degrees for both.

The max for 955's is 62 and your very close to that as it is, most folks dont like to go over 55c.

Is it real warm in your room?

Wall for 955 is around 58+ i find. Stability test with AOD i can get it to 58 just, and its still ok. BF3 peaks the temp at 56-57 so far. I have had a situation though where one of the fans for my cpu cooler wasnt working, and i had a crash due to CPU. I can tell cause my Chill Control software stops responding. Going too high in temperature on the cpu will cause it to become unstable, and you are right there.

Whats your vcore and cpu-nb voltage?

Back it down to stock untill you can get your temps under control and see if they helps the bsods.

ugh im not going to be happy if i have to run my CPU back to stock, with my crossfire setup that's going to bottle neck my cards so bad i don't remember my cpu being this hot when i installed my hyper 212

perhaps tomorrow ill reapply some paste and reinstall it

btw to remove any bottlenecks i was considering an upgrade to a 2500k do they run hot at all? id want to overclock it to atleast 4.2 ghz but i hear they do that very easily.

A 2500k will be a much better choice for cfx cards.

You wont even have to OC the chip either.

Your 212 will be a good cooler for the K also.
