Don't play the waiting game.

I can tell you I saw a huge bump in gaming performance just by going from my 4670 to my 5750. 5670 is a smidge faster than the 4670.

I think the 6850 fits perfectly into the budget and resolution capabilities.

after looking at 6850 reviews it looks like a good upgrade plus im buying some new RAM soon (2 x 4gb gskill 2133mhz ddr3) and ill give him my kingston RAM for nothing so that should help with performance both ends
