GTX 570 - ASUS DCII or Gainward Phantom?

Hello helpful forum members!

Between the ASUS DC II and the Gainward Phantom. Which of the two would be better? First and foremost they should be as quiet as possible and secondary I also would like to know how they compare when it comes to overclocking potential.

We had a Gainward Golden Sample at first, but were really put off by the noise they emitted under load. After reading some reviews I found some that say the Phantom would be "whisper quiet" with other places saying they would be just slightly below the other Gainwards regarding noise level.

If it matters which case we're using, it's the NZXT Phantom, with an additional Noctua fan istalled at the front.

Thanks in advance!

Both are very good cards but from what I could find, I would go with the Gainward as everyone seems to be praising how quiet the cooler is. Though the Asus might clock higher (no proof). Both will be great cards for what you want but I would recommend the Gainward.

Thanks Argosy.
Did you have personal experience with either card? May it be running them themselves or hearing them "live" somewhere else?
