Need some advice on water cooling my Antec 902 rig

Thread Starter
I've been using my current setup for about a year and a half now and it's been perfect, but I've always wanted to try liquid cooling. The closed loop prefab kits don't really interest me, but I need some advice on building my own single-loop.
Current specs:
AMD 1090T x6 - Stock Cooler
Gigabyte GA-890FX-UD5
4GB G.Skill Pi Memory
1x Radeon HD 5770
Antec 902 Case

I'm set on the FrozenQ Liquid Fusion Bay Reservoir w/ attached Swiftech MPC655 pump (..once they're in stock again). I have two open bay drives to install it.

Two Questions:

Should put my graphics card in the loop? I want the system to be as quiet as possible, and I'm not sure how much noise the card's air cooler adds.

What kind of radiator do I need? I know it's common to mount a single 120mm rad on the back, but I've also seen rads that can be mounted in the top hole where the Antec BigBoy 200mm fan goes.

Let me know if there's any important info I'm leaving out here - Thanks

360 Rad in the drive bay and cool the video card too. .. that will mean that you lose everything tho.

As for the top you can get a 200mm RAD but they tend to be a bit pants, you could fit a 240 rad across it though.

What do you mean by that? ^

I was considering getting a modular PSU since I just stuffed the cables I'm not using into the bottom bay.

I don't have a lot of room in this case so hiding the rad up inside the 200mm fan hole would be nice, although it would be a bit ugly from the top.

And would I get rid of all the stock air fans in the case, or save the ones in front?

He means a 360 radiator will fill all of your drive bays. See mine for example:

I mean that you would have no optical or HDD space left, you could maybe get an 240 in the front and then a 120 in the back.. then could cool everthing..

Both rads would be intakeing from outside and the 200 big boy would be exhausting them.

Right.
Well I was hoping to build this around the FrozenQ Pump/Reservoir, which requires two bays. Do I need that big of a rad for this kind of loop?

A 240mm radiator should handle your CPU fine, leaving you with about 3 5.25" bays to work with.
If you put a 360 in the front drive bays it won't leave much room if any for 5.25 devices.

The frozenQ bay reservoirs have a specific mount for 655's so you can mount it directly to the reservoir. If you get that, you could probably pickup the Alphacool VPP655 Single Edition. It's the same pump but without the top, you wouldn't need the top if it mounts directly to the reservoir.

Or you can get the package put together for you.

In that situation, where do you mount your HDDs?

And do you mean you wouldn't recommend cooling the GPU with just the 240 as well?
