First time watercooler, seem good temp?

Thread Starter
Hi all,
I'm getting around temperatures of around 55C-60C when Prime95 blend testing on the CPU, based on my system specifications as of this post, do these seem reasonably right, or higher than normal for a watercooling setup that I currently have? I was unable to do the graphics card today due to the lack of two barbs which I've ordered. Fortunately no leaks which is good.

EDIT: Also, would it be reasonable to run the system 24/7?

Seems okay.

What are your ambient temps? They will tell us whether or not your load temps are good

Ya that sound's about right. Especially if that's your temp with 4.6GHz @ 1.39v on prime. Remember Prime is maxing out your chip so it's going to be higher than if your chip was in a game or general use.

Ambient temp is roughly 21C (maintained by my portable air conditioner).

Also, nobody has answered my second question. The other question was about whether it's reasonable to run the system 24/7 or should a watercooled system only be on when I'm using it?

Oh I run mine 24/7 and only shut it down for 3-4 weeks a year when I'm on vacation.

I see.

Thanks everyone for your replies. Now all that's left to do is watercool my GPU (assuming I've ordered the appropriate barbs, I believe I have though, and that my non-reference model GPU isn't going to throw a spanner in the works). Ran the system all night without leaks which is excellent.
