Well in the divorce she got my MX510 good loyal mouse it was, been using a 10 dollar wal-mart special mouse you know crappy. So I saw a G300 on newegg for a decent price, anyone have one, can you tell me anything about it, good or bad?

From everything I've read about it, it seems like it's the best ambidextrous gaming mouse around.

However, that doesn't mean it's a be-all-end-all mouse. But if I had to categorize it in a field of specialized gaming mice, I'd say its fair to good.

I think this review sums it up pretty well:

As far as a replacement for your MX510? That depends largely on you. If you can get the G300 for $25 or so, then I'd say yeah, that's a great value. Once you are in the $30-$40 range, you're looking at the G400, which is a much more accurate replacement in terms of ergonomics and button layout.
