Keycaps to replace my 7G caps?

Thread Starter
Well, I have been the proud owner of a Steelseries 7G for about a week now, and already my wasd keys are dirty :-/ I believe the lettering/numbers printed on these keycaps are vinyl or something, as they do not feel like plastic stickers, and are raised up a bit more than other keyboards I have had.

Anyway, it looks pretty ugly now that they are brown and the others are white. Is there a *CHEAP* way to get laser-etched or double-shot keycaps for this? I have seen sites that sell caps for like $5 each, and that's just not worth it to me. Also, this keyboard has a tad different layout with a big enter button and small backspace/backslash.

Ideas are appreciated biggrin.gif!

You could just get replacement keycaps for WASD.

Also, can't you just wipe your keyboard down and wash your hands before playing biggrin.gif

Double shots are never cheap. You can get them through group buys on Geekhack or through the classifieds. Sometimes you can find them on Ebay, but that is rare. I would recommend going on Ebay and paying for some PBT (plastic) caps which aren't exactly cheap, but they are better than the WASD caps which are made out of ABS plastic. Good luck!

You aren't going to get PBT or double shots for cheap. For cheap your best option is ABS.
