my 650d fancontroller

i found something interesting, my fans arent running right now but my average daily use temps are still pretty low, only about 2c higher then with fans running

At near idle that is normal, try playing a game and we'll talk if it's only ~2C higher. Still nice to know you can shut off your fans if you aren't doing anything intensive.

That is insane, Sir! How much rad space are you running? And is there any kind of draft at all, maybe air from an intake fan at the front of the chassis being forced through the rad?

edit: Also, what kind of ambients are we talking about here?

its a 240 rad, no draft there shouldnt be, right now im running the front 200 fan at the lowest it can be just so it starts up and my rear 120 is running at 100%

21.5 ambient

i havnt seen it break 59 yet, this might be the highest it will get

I am hella tempted to try this but I'd have to go into my computers guts and unplug the fans myself. I Have a 240 and a 360 but its a li'l hotter in my room than yours. Also i have my Gpu in the loop too. Still.... Maybe if i unplug the molex connectors from my fan power PCBs...

should try im surprised it only got this hot
