Yes it should lower your load temps. It won't, however, lower your idle temps below your ambient temperature.

Does no one else think that temp is too high considering he's already running an RX360. Before you chuck money at the problem may i suggest you have air trapped in the block, which you can get rid of by tilting your case, or you have a bad mount and maybe could try reseating your GPU block.

I run 2 6950s on a single RX360 temps are like 40c playing battlefield 3 on ultra, that loop also includes my I7 930 which run hotter than your I5.

I'd check for air first, then remount if theres no air before I bought another rad

Those temps sound pretty high for your 360 rad. I would recommend getting better fans (like the AP-15s) for your setup. That will give you a bigger temperature drop than another Rad, I think. Also, as the above poster suggested, check that your loop is fully bled.

It sounds high yes, but don't the 470's run pretty hot as is? In addition we don't know his ambient to really make that conclusion. I would still however like to know what fans he is using.

I had an i7 950 @ 4.5Ghz and a GTX 580, both overclocked, and the max temperature my GPU hit was 54c, all on just one RX360.

Your set up is messed up somehow. Check your waterblock mounting.
hmm the general census is correct..

I had 580 2x SLI and i5 2500k (all stock) running off a HWL SR1 360 + 240, fans were adjusted to lower than 1000rpm and temps were roughly in the high 50's, low 60's range..

I'd definitely check the mountings, maybe check if the screws can be tightened just a tad more.. I had a previous experience where tightening my gpu blocks just half a rotation caused the temp to decrease by 5-6c.. Pls do this carefully, if you turn it counter clockwise and requires no force for the screw to turn, you can tighten it a bit more.. if it requires force, it may already be pretty tight so please be careful and not break your card..

My max temp in BF3 is 59c I am using 3 Antec TriCool 120 x 25mm Chassis Fan with Tecnofront AirBox 360 in a pull on max speed(2000rpm). Max 71c is from OCCT testing. 39c idle and room temp is 74f.
I did tighten the screws on my gpu and max temp on OCCT is 69c and BF3 is 59c I did not look to see what max temp on BF3 was before I tighten the screws.
And btw I am running at 1.212v with ocp disabled mod.
