560 Ti, HDMI & a bright display!

Thread Starter
I recently changed over from DVI to HDMI on my 560ti, and noticed that my screen is...brighter by an almost annoying margin. When looking at blacks, it looks almost as if my gamma is set to something incredibly high - but when I check the Nvidia control panel, its at its default 50.

What can I do to bring this down a bit? I love how VGA & DVI look in terms of screen brightness...is there a setting i should mess with to fix it?

Has anyone else noticed this?

Turn down the gamma, then... As long as it doesn't get to dark
