GPU block thumbscrew broke off and its stuck on my card. Any suggestions?

Ok...So I was leak testing and I found out that my rasa universal gpu block was leaking, mainly because I forgot to tighten up the hex screws on the block.

As I was on the process of detaching the block from my card, the top of the thumbscrew broke off leaving that threaded needle stuck in my card. I tried to use pliers to pull it out but it had no real grip on it, I actually did more damage to the needle doing so.

That thing is really screwed in pretty tight. I was thinking of using a dremel to cut it off but its just too risky for me and if I do, that means I wont be able to use that spot anymore when I put back the screws for my gpu block.

Any other suggestions?

Try using pliers again, but this time put the thickest rubber band you can find around the broken thumb screw. That should help grip the thumb screw.

I'll try this, I do have some rubber tape at home so that might help...

If it doesn't work out and I decide to cut the needle from the front and back of the pcb, I'm wondering if it would be safe to have only three thumbscrews attached on the block?

No it won't if the block isn't mounted securely with 4 screws one side will have a lift and may not dissipate heat equally.

Don't know much about that block, but they aren't reverse screws? Like the kind that go right to loosen and not left? When you were screwing them in you used just your thubs or did you use pliers? Do you go into Hulk mode or something?
