You have multiple programs you can use. LinX, IBT, Prime95, etc. I personally recommend Prime95. Once you have it downloaded you run Blend for about ~10 minutes just to see what your load temps are.

Running Blend now. Will report temps at the 10 minute mark in.....7 minutes. Currently at 49C 3 minutes in.

now 4 minutes in.

Read this. so, the CPU tmep is a max of 72.6 according to the Intel support community but the Core's may reach a higher temp. I wouldn't let it hit 92c on the core's.

^this. The intel specs for 72.6 is actually the tcase temperature - the case of the CPU housing. The tjmax (junction/core) can reach higher temperatures fairly safely.
