My Elder Scrolls Skyrim character build

Thread Starter
So for my Skyrim character I am thinking of going with my usual rogue type character but I want to implement some good magic into my character for my first run through. I have been doing my research and I have found that 4-5 skills is the prime number for focusing on without being too spread out.

the 5 skills that I want to do in order from top to bottom are

daggers/one hand swords
magic- either conjuration or illusion (need help deciding)
bow and arrow
lock picking
light armor

for my job I will either do hunting or alchemy for my own potions

Now those 5 skills are what I want to focus on the most (as of now till I play and see if there are any new skills) My biggest problem is I cant decide on either conjuration or illusion. either or I think would be great if used in the correct manor. I am leaning towards conjuration cause if a strong enemy got too close then I could summon help to take them out or to get me out of close combat and hit from afar with a bow. But then again illusion would be more natural for a rogue?

any input would be greatly appreciated!!! thanks

I'd say illusion, because what rogue summons stuff, ya know?

definitly illusionist, better to play tricks with the person your stealing from's mind than to conjur a loud creature and aleart him to your hiding place

I actually had the same idea. I started out using archery, sneak, and conjuration. I would kill one enemy raise him and just use him as cover. When my summoned dead warrior died, i would just summon another. It worked really well, and was a blast for the first 5 or 7 levels, then conjuration fell way behind. The summons died way to fast to be useful, and it was harder to raise them in the choas. It was just smoother at that point to put more points into stamina, versus Health, magic and stamina.

Now that i'm level 30, and i have Archery and sneak in the 90's, i'm leveling enchanting. I'm at the mid 60's. I can stick nearly every piece of my equipment with +27% archery damage. At 100 i'll be able to slap two enchantments on each piece.

My reasoning for enchanting is i can make multiple armor sets. Sets can reduce casting cost of conjuration, illusion, destruction. I'm hoping to turn my guy into a conjuration archer again. It's a great idea, and with 100 sneak and the final perk you can uncrouch then crouch and be able to sneak attack even after your detected.
