CHV is a great board - the best IMO. 4.5GHZ @ 1.476v, NB @ 3.25GHZ 1.3V wink.gif

Granted my CPU is great too, but I couldn't do it without the CHV biggrin.gif

We were talking about the Crosshair V, not the board he has.

HT link is too high. The general thing people say is that you should keep HT link ~50mhz of 2000

+1 Keep you HT link as close to 2000MHz as possible.

I'll drop it down as close to 2k if possible, I haven't noticed a difference with 2k and 2.2k but ill take everyone's advice. thumb.gif

If you are talking about Crosshair V than write the full name, not "CHV" ok !?. Also the ASRock 990FX Fatal1ty overclocks better , he had 12+2 Power Phase, Larger VRM's than standart, they are cooled good etc etc.
