[Noctua]Noctua introduces NF-F12 Focused Flow™ fan - Page 5

I love my noctua fans....

Some LED options and different colored ones would be nice.

But I can live with the color since their amazing quality fans
post #42 of 58
Now all they need to do is release a fan that isn't a hideous color and blatantly overpriced.

Sure they do, if beige comes back in style. All computers used to be that color. I use Noctua fans on my radiator. Best fans I've ever had.

They have the best performance to noise ratio in the real world, not the bogus claims made by Scythe and others. When you see and hear them, you can tell the difference.

They weren't beige, computers turned beige because of smoke.

I dont like them. The added "stabilizers" are too thick. They take up a couple MM of space on a 25mm fan. Which means the blades have a shorter pitch, because of the less "thickness" for the blades. Meaning less CFM and a lot less static pressure.

I have never owned any Noctua fans, to much money for an ugly ass fan. But I do hear that they are as quiet and well built as they come.

Those "stabilizers" or stator vanes are used in many server fans. We just have to see if the fan is any good and how much it costs.

These stator vanes have also been used on jet engines too so it is not a new concept.

I tried 140mm, 120mm, and 90mm Noctua fans before. I never tried the NF-F12 model but I wasn't THAT impressed with them.

In my opinion, the Thermalright TY140 when slowed down a bit is better than the 140mm Noctua. Gentle Typhoon AP-13/14 is better than the 120mm Noctua

I have nothing to compare the 90mm Noctua to but it didn't blow me away either.
